Artwork of Libby Wright

Exhibit: January 12 - February 29, 2004

Samford University Library hosts the Artwork of Libby Wright. The 15 piece exhibit consists of pastels, watercolors and mixed media.

The art is showcased on the main entry level around the grand staircase and on the second floor.

Libby Wright

Libby Wright is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Although she has lived in Birmingham for over twenty years you can still see the influence of costal life in her work. Some of her favorite themes include old homes, boats, and informal portraits of people fishing, working, and shopping. Her works have won Best of Show, Purchase, and many First Place ribbons. Many may be found in private and public collection throughout Alabama. She is represented by Artist Inc. Gallery at (205) 979-8990.
