Samford University Library hosts the color photography of Robert Bamberg.
The art is showcased on the main entry level around the grand staircase.
Bob (Robert) Bamberg would like to welcome you to his exhibit of flowers. He hopes that you will enjoy their colors as much as he did when he was photographing them. Bob comes to his enjoyment of painting and photographing flowers from an early and varied background. His mother early-on, instilled in him a love of flowers and the joy they can bring. After serving in the U. S. Army and the U. S. Navy, Bob embarked on his second career, school teaching. He was privileged to teach with many wonderful creative teachers at Cahaba Heights Elementary School. During those years he began painting watercolors under the tutelage of Ron Lewis and other well-known artists. Following his teaching career, Bob entered the McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University and will graduate in 2006. There hasn't been much time for him to paint during the past four years, so he is looking forward to graduating and getting back to painting and photography.
Closing date: November 4, 2005.
