Samford University Library hosts Natural Photo Art exhibit by artist Lane Finch.
The art is showcased in the reading room on the second floor.
by Lane Finch
Often times, we rush through our lives or through the landscape around us and miss the beauty that is there.
As you can see, my photographs emphasize the details and vibrant colors of nature. I really enjoy showing people the incredible color, detail, and beauty which exists in nature.
I personally print all of my photographs from a color transparency (either Fuji Provia or Fuji Velvia slide film). I like to print each photograph myself to ensure great color which matches the beauty I saw in the field. All of my photographs are matted with acid-free Crescent mats.
I exhibit in art galleries in Birmingham, Alabama and also exhibit in local art shows. My photographs hang in homes and offices from Coast to Coast as well as in Paris to China. The editors of Birmingham Magazine recently chose me as one of the featured artists for the Artwalk preview. (August 2005 edition.)
Please visit me at Artwalk on September 9th and 10th in downtown Birmingham. My exhibit will be hosted at Lindsey Office Furniture, 2223 First Avenue North, Birmingham.
Every Natural Photo Art photograph is available in sizes from 2" x 3" up to 13" x 19". The mat sizes range from 3" x 5" to 20" x 24". I can custom print and mat larger sizes as well. I also have assorted note cards featuring my photographs. For order information, visit my web site, NaturalPhotoArt.com. Also be sure to check my web site for gallery exhibitions and other shows.
Closing date: October 31, 2005.
