Ashley is a native of Monroe, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Mississippi College with a BS in Nursing and a minor in music.
She has been residing in Birmingham for the past seven years where she has worked as a pharmaceutical representative for Pfizer.
She has been painting since the age of nine. Her medium of choice is acrylics because it allows her to layer bold colors while at the same time adding texture to the canvas. Her love for children’s art themes come through on every painting. Before moving to Birmingham, she was offered the opportunity to paint children’s themes on canvas for the treatment and welcome center at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. This opportunity rekindled her love for painting after graduating from college as a nurse. She has been painting ever since.
A member of Hunter Street Baptist Church, last year she was asked to paint words from scripture on canvas encouraging worship of God through art.
From working on that project, her heart has been led to paint more faith based art that is fun and encouraging to all who see.
Currently, she is working on faith-based art on canvas, children’s themes, and abstract paintings.
