Art in April
Exhibit: April 7 – 16, 2010
The University Library hosts a paintings exhibit by Korean abstract expressionist, Jae-Im Kim. Jae-Im Kim is the 2009-10 artist in residence at the Overseas Ministries Study Center. This exhibit is sponsored with the Global Center as part of their Art in April event.
About the Artist
Jae-Im Kim is a member of the Korean Fine Arts Association, the Korean Women Painters Association and the Asian Christian Art Association. She held her first solo exhibition in Seoul in 1960 after graduating from Seoul National University. She has held 24 solo exhibitions and has been a part of 30 others around the world. Her work has been exhibited extensively in Europe and Asia.
