Fixing jams in printers, adding paper and ink cartridges to printers, and dealing with computer problems are the responsibilities of any librarian on duty. See the troubleshooting section for tips on printer and computer problems. If you cannot fix the problem, you may consult with the circulation staff, the automation librarian, or a reference student assistant about it; they may know a few tricks that work. Sometimes you need to reboot to "unhang" a computer. If so, click on "start" in the bottom left corner. Then click on "shut down computer." Click on "restart" and wait for it to boot back up. If the computer loses its connection to the network, follow the above instructions.
