The Library utilizes GoPrint print management software for printing from library public computers. Personal and mobile devices may use the Samford wēpa print stations also available in the library.
Visitors may print from library computers and pay for prints at the GoPrint release station on the first floor (maps) by the public computers. Samford wēpa Print Stations are also available for printing from a usb, personal computer, or mobile device.
Printers and Print Stations are available on the lower level, first and second floors of the library. There are two color print options in the building: Computer lab, wēpa Print Station on the lower level; and Photocopy room 218, GoPrint printer on the second floor.
All Samford students, faculty, and staff must have value on their Samford Card to print in the library using GoPrint. Students receive an allotment of free printing at the beginning of each semester. Once the allotment of free prints is exhausted, printing is still available, but at a cost. Samford's GET site allows students to add funds, check balances, view history and report a lost card. Select GoPrint under Sign in from the library's top navigation menu to add money to an account.
Each computer defaults to the closest black and white GoPrint printer.
Letter size paper (8.5x11) is available on all printers.
For legal size paper (8.5x14), select GP-DALIB-100 on the first floor.
For tabloid size paper (11x17), select GP-DALIB-218 (BW or COLOR). GoPrint uses the Xerox color copier in Room 218, second floor. For color prints, in print preview, change the printer to GP-DALIB-218-COLOR.
After printing, enter your Samford username and password when prompted by GoPrint. Remember to log-out of GoPrint and close all browser windows to prevent others from accessing your account balance..
