In the past, course registration was done at a specified location on campus. Students would wait in long lines to register for the classes they needed. In 1984, the registration process was computerized. Students would go to the University Center where computers were made available to them. Later, in the 1990s, computers would be set up for students to use in Seibert Gym. However, the long lines remained. In 2007, the university began to offer students the ability to register online. Students today have the convenience of registering from any location on or off campus.
